We're thrilled to announce a significant upgrade in Canada designed to deliver clearer calls and fewer interruptions! We are launching our new architecture to the public, utilizing clustered Points-of-Presence (PoPs) for superior service reliability and performance. 

Single PoPs are networks of servers in a single data center, serving as a single point of contact. In contrast, clustered PoPs are distributed across multiple data centers, offering enhanced redundancy, scalability, and performance. Our goal is to achieve the highest industry standards in service availability. 

After extensive testing with over 4,000 beta testers and incorporating their feedback, we are excited to make this upgrade available to all our customers. 

How do I try it? 

To experience the VoIP.ms enhanced architecture, please update the server registration on your application or device to ca.voip.ms. Additionally, update your account configurations in your Customer Portal by following these steps: 

1. Go to DID Numbers. 
2. Click on Manage DID. 
3. Under DID Point of Presence, choose Canada (ca.voip.ms). 

What's next? 

As we gather feedback and ensure the new architecture meets your diverse needs, we will gradually roll out clustered PoPs worldwide, phasing out single PoPs. Customers using single PoPs will eventually be migrated to clustered PoPs. We will provide further updates as we progress on this exciting journey.
