Reseller Announcement: Launch of Custom DNO Registry Tool

VoIP.ms now offers resellers a Custom Do Not Originate (DNO) Registry, a complimentary tool that enables resellers to block Caller ID numbers that should never be used for outbound calls.

This new feature helps resellers enhance call security, reduce spoofing incidents, and stay aligned with best practices promoted by the FCC, as outlined in the Eighth Report and Order (FCC 25-15).

With this tool, you can maintain your own DNO list by specifying numbers that your network should never use as outbound Caller ID. The registry is easy to manage and is designed to help protect both your brand reputation and your customers.

You can access the DNO Registry by going to DNO under the Reseller tab in your Customer Portal, where you can add numbers manually or import a CSV file.

Suggested entries include inbound-only lines (e.g., support or emergency numbers), known spoofed numbers, or invalid and unallocated numbers. For example, a local bank’s customer service number used only for incoming calls would be a strong candidate for your DNO list.
